Together, Jennifer and Eric bring a powerful mix of humanitarian leadership, storytelling, technology, and partnership-building. Founded in 2011 PeaceGeeks International is a charity that has won a Google.org Impact Challenge award, and its technology has helped strengthen the work of dozens of nonprofit and humanitarian organizations, including UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees when people are displaced from global conflict zones. In recent years the PeaceGeeks free app WelcomeCoach.ca has empowered, connected and guided hundreds of thousands of immigrants to settle in Canada.

Jen is an internationally recognized expert in applying technology to scale human centered support for refugees, immigrants, and displaced communities. She is the CEO of PeaceGeeks and has held senior academic roles at the Kroc School of Peace Studies, the Women PeaceMakers Program, and the Centre for Women, Peace and Security at the London School of Economics.

Eric is a writer, strategist, and people connector. He has won awards for developing plans and partnerships and has built teams to grow and finance both non-profits and businesses across several sectors. He is the Director of Stories and Sustainability at PeaceGeeks.
