Chris Mezzacappa of Bitconsult LLC

Chris Mezzacappa is the owner/founder of Bitconsult LLC. Bitconsult provides consulting services for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Offering customized courses on security, recovery, and monetary theory, Bitconsult has helped private individuals and family funds understand digital assets. This month’s Roundtable brief will touch on technology but will also dive deep into the economics and game theory that underlie Bitcoin.

Chris is a proud husband and father of three young boys. While working full time as a Chief Engineer for the Navy, Chris discovered Bitcoin around 2013 and was immediately obsessed. Not only was the underlying cryptography fascinating, but the idea of “a currency of the internet” had Chris intrigued. After months reading about distributed systems, Austrian Economics, game theory, and much more, Chris finally started to get it and decided to start Bitconsult to help others along the way.
