Phillip A. Thompson CEO – Mana Medical Devices Inc.

My name is Phillip A. Thompson, and I am a Surgical Technologist and Surgical Instrument Developer.

I have been a surgical technologist since January 2009.

I presently work at Nemours Children’s Health Hospital in Malvern, PA.

I presently perform 10–14 surgeries a day, for 4 days a week.

Over the length of my surgical career, I have performed 90,000+ major surgeries.

Based on my workplace observations, I have conceived 8+ potentially patentable improvements on existing or fundamentally new surgical instruments that may have a major impact on both human and veterinary surgery procedures.

I am presently patenting 2 of my ideas to “queue them up” for manufacturing and marketing.

I am also forming an early-stage New Jersey corporation to manufacture and market medical instrumentation technology.
